The story of Peter and the triple rooster crow is the sermon text for the coming Sunday, a story of fear and failure, but also a story of love and forgiveness.

Sometimes I look for God, but the path seems blocked.
I can't get through, I stand in my own way.
The 3rd Advent tells us about this, but also about the fact that where Jesus comes, the world becomes brighter and healthier: Things that have dried up begin to blossom, closed eyes open, what is hidden in our hearts is revealed.
Nothing should stand in the way of his coming: neither valleys of sadness nor mountains of hubris. Preparing the way for him means staying awake and allowing yourself to be set in motion: To comfort the sad, to accept one another and to encourage those who have long since given up.

A warm invitation to the worship service on Sunday, December 17th at 4 p.m.
The Advent season will soon begin and with it the wait for Christmas Eve.
Anticipation, impatience, longing. Waiting is associated with mixed feelings.
This coming Sunday, Eternity Sunday, also speaks of waiting, but in a different way and poses the question of the end of life, what we expect ... and what we then expect. The Bible paints the picture of "the new heaven, the new earth".
In the upcoming worship service, we remember the people who have died, say a prayer for them and light candles.
A warm invitation to the Service on Sunday, November 26 at 10.30 am
at Parish Room @Ashanti-Gallery (Abubakar Koko Cres, Lifecamp)
