The joyful dance, the song that loosens the tears of mourners, the whistling in the dark and the aria that reaches deep into the heart - music leaves no one unmoved.
Christian piety would be inconceivable without it. The Sunday cantata (Singt!) is all about music and singing

Sometimes I look for God, but the path seems blocked.
I can't get through, I stand in my own way.
The 3rd Advent tells us about this, but also about the fact that where Jesus comes, the world becomes brighter and healthier: Things that have dried up begin to blossom, closed eyes open, what is hidden in our hearts is revealed.
Nothing should stand in the way of his coming: neither valleys of sadness nor mountains of hubris. Preparing the way for him means staying awake and allowing yourself to be set in motion: To comfort the sad, to accept one another and to encourage those who have long since given up.
