Next Wednesday is the Day of Repentance and Prayer, nowadays a holiday that is often difficult to communicate.
"Penance" is a strange ancient word to us and sounds like "Name of the Rose" and medieval monastic life.
For me, however, the Day of Repentance and Prayer holds a great opportunity to perceive and reflect on oneself and one's own life in relation to the world at large. The good and the beautiful, but also the heavy and the fragments ... and is thus also part of the preparation for Advent, when the longing for the coming light grows ... and we start already on Sunday before:

Welcome to our worship service with children church
on the following sunday, the 14th of November @ 4pm

The service will be in German, with English interjections and songs in both German and English. The sermon will be given in translation. The whole service lasts about one hour and after the service we invite to the church cafe.
